Shimmering magenta. Vibrant, mineral-accented red berry and cherry aromas are complemented by hints of candied lavender, exotic spices and incense. Silky, pliant and alluringly sweet, offering palate-caressing raspberry, cherry preserve and spicecake flavors that are given lift and focus by a spine of smoky minerality. Made in a pure, energetic style, showing solid finishing thrust, well-knit tannins and lingering florality. From what I've seen of the 2018s this is definitely one of the stars of the appellation in this vintage.
