Paul Perarnau & Willy Roulendes, two friends who get along with great chemistry, have decided to make wines together since 2015. Based in Maranges, the Cote de Beaune in Burgundy, they are now quietly making exciting wines that are not yet well known but worth full recognition. The two focus on the future of underrated Burgundy regions, such as Maranges and Saint Romain.
Paul is the farmer, a man with immense energy and vitality. He has a unique perspective on the regions and terroirs of Burgundy and a deep understanding of their vines. His passion for wines of character led him to work with talented winemakers such as Dominique Hauvette and our beloved Oronce de Beler.
Willy is the winemaker, a man with a great sense of humour. After working at Domaine De Montille, he took care of wines from Clos du Moulin aux Moines in Auxey-Durresses. With these precious experiences, he gained a deep knowledge of the terroirs of the Côte de Beaune. For him, Ami is the opportunity to let burst a bubble of madness.
They only craft wines using healthy organic or biodynamic grapes and working naturally in the cellar. The wines reflect the personalities of how Paul & Willy are, energetic yet welcoming, affordable but don’t lack the substance, absolutely delicious burgundies we love.
