It’s translucent dark ruby color sets the stage for a juicy nose of fresh red fruits, flinty with hints of forest floor, earth, spice, red liquorice and a touch of reduction. Supple, savory, pure, fresh and clean in the mouth, with rich and powerful flavors of red plums, red berries, rhubarb, and clove. This wine has a mineral vein and beautiful tension from start to finish, and builds in character and intensity through the midpalate to the finish, complex, clean and structured, on a backbone of blood orange acidity that is just delicious.
